At Texas First Rentals, we take pride in highlighting team members who go above and beyond—not just in their roles, but in the way they live our values every day. This month, we're shining the spotlight on Kyle Zavala, a dedicated Outside Sales Rep whose energy, teamwork, and passion for people make a lasting impact on everyone around him.
Kyle is guided by Values Based Leadership. “Our company’s values give me daily direction,” he says. “Whenever we face a challenge, I always look to our core values. Even if the solution isn't immediately clear, being dynamic helps us stay on track and work through it as a team.”
And speaking of teamwork, that’s Kyle’s favorite part of the job. “The best part of what I do is working with my teammates,” he says. “Everyone here is committed to growing and getting better every day. It’s a special environment, and I’m truly grateful to be part of it.”
When Kyle isn’t helping customers find the right equipment or collaborating with his teammates, you’ll probably find him outdoors enjoying life with his wife Jordan and their loyal Australian shepherd, Roofus. Whether it's cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, getting in a round of pickleball or golf, or taking peaceful walks as a family, Kyle knows how to make the most of every moment.
Family plays a big role in Kyle’s life. His wife Jordan serves the community as an ER nurse, and his roots stretch from Boerne to Fredericksburg, where his parents Michael and Jennifer have owned and operated Backwoods BBQ for over 40 years. Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs instilled in Kyle a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for service.
