At Texas First Rentals, leadership is about more than results—it’s about values, vision, and building a legacy. Cody embodies this every day as the Branch Manager of our Willow Park location. Known for his positive attitude and commitment to core values, he has led his team to transform the location into one of the company’s flagship stores.
Cody’s path to success has been shaped by a mindset of accountability and growth. “Throughout my career I have had various roles, most of which were sales related, and then in 2023, dedicated operations was my next path,” he said. “I have been rewarded and excited with the success of the team around me and the brand we have built.” For Cody, leadership is about more than hitting targets—it’s about shaping a team and growing a business. “Taking my sales approach and mindset to an operational side of a business and being successful with it has been my biggest accomplishment.”
One of the ways Cody builds success is by living the company’s values every day. “The values are important, and each carry a specific meaning,” he shared. “For me, the two that are most important are our values of Ethical and Excellence. I believe by following these two values, you can be successful.” His example has helped shape a culture of integrity and collaboration among his team.
Cody also finds satisfaction in the creative side of his job. “I enjoy being part of a team, overcoming our stresses and seeing our successes,” he said. “I enjoy the creativity this job requires to find solutions for our internal and external customers.” It’s that mindset—focused on success, excellence and commitment—that makes Cody’s leadership such a strong asset for us at Texas First Rentals.
Outside of work, Cody’s time is focused on family and the outdoors. “In my downtime, I enjoy spending time on the lake, playing golf, attending sporting events and traveling with my kids for baseball and soccer,” he said. He and his wife Rachel have three children, and much of their time together revolves around activities and weekend getaways. “It allows us to travel for lots of weekend getaways,” he said, and gives him the opportunity to stay connected with his kids through their shared love of sports.
